Moving and Minimalising

So what is going on?

We have decided that we are going to move from Australia to the United Kingdom. London. Yes yes. When are we going to do this you ask? In two years.

So in the meantime we need to get rid of all our stuff because we can't afford and also, don't want to move all stuff with us.

This means we can have a fresh start. And buy things we want instead of having a house full of hand-me-downs.

So I figure I might stand a chance of becoming a minimalist and kick some clutter butt. I have a lot of stuff. I rarely get rid of anything, so this should be interesting. Yes, it took moving to another country to get me to get rid of my stuff, but hey, at least I am doing it.

So where to start?

There is a cupboard in our living room which we never open, it has nice plates and a punch bowl. Pretty much supplies for entertaining which we never do.

I have pulled out a few things from here and put them on gumtree.com. So far no takers, but hey, if it doesn't sell, I will donate it. Two weeks, no sales, donate. That is my rule.

Anyone out there got a cupboard full of stuff they never use? Make some money and sell it or donate it for someone who really needs it. :)
